New Book Nothing Hardly Ever Happens in Colbyille, Vermont by Peter Miller This new book, due out October, 2008, is a collection of 28 stories Peter has written or edited in his Colbyville house-home. In this collection, the written word is the boss, although each chapter begins with a photograph. The stories, for the most part, have been published in magazines and newspapers although a few were rejected by editors (not politically correct) and some were written specifically for this book. The stories involve 30 years of Vermont life style about our culture, hunting, fishing, skiing, satirical riffs, and a couple that are downright funny. Yes, there are some sad stories that were tough to write and a couple of personal ones too, although all my stories reflect a relationship between me and the subject. The book is now being printed (September, 2008) and as soon as I have a cover I will put it up on this website. One story you can read is in the column section of this website and its about Fred Tuttle's funeral. New Photo Gallery and Website I have opened a photo gallery in the downstairs of my home. It's called Peter Miller Photography Gallery, of course, and there's a big sign on Route 100. It's located two houses south of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Plant. They think their plant is in Waterbury but actually it is in Colbyville. I can spit (well almost) onto their land from my deck. You will be reading about them in my new book. I also have a new website for my fine art photography. It is, of course, www.petermillerphotography.com. Stop by when you're on the way to Stowe.
